Hispanic Heritage Month Essays Due by October 10
DeVry South Florida students are invited to submit Hispanic Heritage Month essays on the topic, "How have Hispanic Americans achieved the American Dream?"
Essays of a maximum of 500 words (4 paragraphs) are due by Friday, October 10 to Dr. Mary Howrey by e-mail-- mhowrey@devry.edu
Students who are judged to have written the top three essays will receive $25 gift certificates.

The Outsiders Film Showing & Book Discussion in October 2008

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is the Reading Circles selection for Summer Session B.
The film showing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8 from 4-6pm.
The book discussion is schedule for Thursday, October 9 from 5-6pm.
Both Reading Circles events are held in Library Conference Room 1.
Students who attend the Reading Circles are encouraged to check with their instructors to see if extra credit points are awarded for participation.
