National Library Week 2011 is April 10-April 16 this year!
To celebrate this special week, DeVry's Library is holding an Open House on Thursday, April 14 from 4-6pm in the Library Annex building.
For interested techies, a demonstration of the major eBook Readers is scheduled from 5-5:30pm during the Open House. Dr. Carleen Spano, Dean of Academic Affairs, will discuss the Amazon.com Kindle eBook Reader. Professor Randy DeWitt, Program Dean of the Media Arts Technology program, will demonstrate the Apple iPad. And, Lazara, Assistant Store Manager with Barnes and Noble in Pembroke Pines, will introduce the B&N Nook.
Don't miss the fun with games of skill, door prizes, refreshments from Doris Italian Food Market, and networking.
